The Avalon team was awarded the 45,000+ SF tenant buildout in the financial district of downtown Los Angeles for an international client partner. The dense downtown location at City National Plaza, 515 S. Flower Street, presented substantial accessibility challenges for material deliveries, trash hauling, and construction crews. Streamlined logistics and experienced onsite supervision were required for the duration of the project to ensure minimal disruption to building operations and existing tenant comfort.
The 18-week project required construction activities to be in compliance with the LEED Gold standards of City National Plaza. Construction included creation of a 20’x20’ opening between two floors for an internal, decorative staircase. The full buildout resulted in an innovative co-working space with modern amenities, upgraded LED lighting with controls, glass wall systems, and exposed ceilings throughout the common areas.
This project was originally awarded to The Vertex Companies, LLC, and transferred to Avalon Construction in December 2025.
