Superintendent
Location: Denver, CO (80211) | Type: Full-Time | Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 / year
The Role: We are looking for a field-ready Superintendent to lead our Tenant Improvement/Reconstruction projects. You will be the face of Avalon Construction on-site, managing subcontractors, ensuring safety, and keeping projects ranging from one week to four months on strict schedules.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee project schedules, material deliveries, and inspections.
- Directly coordinate with subcontractors and interact with Owners, Property Managers, and Tenants.
- Partner with Project Managers on RFIs, change orders, and punchlists.
- Maintain a culture of safety and technical proficiency on every job site.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 3+ years of commercial construction management experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Outlook/Excel. Experience with Procore or Microsoft Project is a major plus.
- Certifications: OSHA 10 preferred (we can help you achieve this post-employment).
- Attributes: A strong communicator who can handle high-priority deadlines with professionalism.

Assistant Superintendent
Location: Denver, CO (80211) | Type: Full-Time | Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 / year
The Role: Are you looking to take the next step in your construction career? We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support our lead Superintendents in the daily management of high-energy commercial Tenant Improvement and Reconstruction projects. This is a critical leadership-track role where you will help guide project teams toward safe, successful, and timely completions.
What You’ll Do:
- Support Field Operations: Assist Superintendents in the daily management of on-site construction activities.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Maintain direct interaction with subcontractors to keep schedules on track.
- Project Oversight: Assist with material deliveries, inspections, and maintaining technical proficiency on-site.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure projects are executed with accuracy and professionalism, adhering to all corporate safety policies.
- Client Relations: Represent Avalon Construction to Owners, Property Managers, and Tenants with a professional and solution-oriented attitude.
What We’re Looking For:
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of commercial construction gained through education or field experience.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for coordinating between field crews and project managers.
- Software: Comfortable using standard office software (Excel, Outlook); experience with Procore is a major advantage.
- Reliability: A proactive professional who can handle the fast pace of rapid-growth projects.
