The Avalon team performed reconstruction services on a multi-family condominium in Telluride, Colorado. The original contractor installed the building paper incorrectly, causing UV deterioration at gaps in the pine siding. The Avalon team’s repair consisted of removing all siding and building paper, installing new flashing at windows and doors, correct installation of building paper, and upgrading the siding with a rough sawn, ship-lap cedar siding to achieve a more rustic look per the client’s request. The project was completed over an eight-week period during the summer months to avoid variable mountain weather conditions.
This project was originally awarded to The Vertex Companies, LLC, and transferred to Avalon Construction in December 2025.
