The Avalon team was retained as the tenant improvement contractor for the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort lobby, restaurant, and veranda remodel. The 4-star, 400+-room hotel is located on the beach and provides guests with luxury and comfort, complete with a welcoming pool deck and pool bar.
The Avalon team’s scope of work included all new finishes in the lobby and porte cochere, including high-end tile, marble, and woodwork. The ‘living wall’ by Ambius is a feature of the lobby. The Siren’s Table Restaurant, a $400,000 millwork package, features blended high-end, solid surface table and bar tops with rustic barn wood and oak woodwork. The layout includes a breakfast buffet, several private dining rooms, and a bar that extends onto a covered veranda with beautiful ocean vistas, glass handrails allowing for unobstructed views, and fire tables to attract evening crowds.
This project was originally awarded to The Vertex Companies, LLC, and transferred to Avalon Construction in December 2025.
