The Avalon Construction team renovated this main lobby of a Class A office building in downtown Denver’s Central Business District. The focal feature of the remodel involved the construction of millwork panels installed at varying depths with integrated light fixtures to provide a geometric wall finish for guests and tenants to enjoy as they navigate into the building. The Avalon team worked closely with the architects and structural engineers to create a unique support structure for the millwork panels in order to highlight and retain the existing granite walls. Avalon crew members worked diligently to create safe environments for occupants and visitors to complete the renovation without interrupting normal building operations. A brand-new café area topped off the modernized look for the main lobby, inviting all building visitors to engage in the common area space. The rejuvenated main lobby was completed in the Spring of 2024.
This project was originally awarded to The Vertex Companies, LLC, and transferred to Avalon Construction in December 2025.
